Digital opinion leaders are HCPs with a large audience and influence on social media:
Audience includes HCPs and others such as journalists, patients and payors. Typically, a higher percentage of HCP followers means a stronger audience.
Influence includes replies, retweets, likes and views for an HCP’s posts, in descending order of priority. For example, a high number of replies from followers indicates a stronger influence than likes.
So when you're looking for DOLs, focus on HCPs with a strong audience and influence.
