How to create social media reports at ASCO

Want ASCO reports that drive positive outcomes? Read on!

#ASCO23 starts soon. What comes after ASCO?

Reports. Lots of reports.

What’s better than reports? Positive outcomes. 🙂

Here’s how to use Medical.watch to create ASCO reports that drive positive outcomes for your organization. Read on for tips…

Choose your subject

1. First, choose your subject. A subject can be your product, your study or a target like PD-L1.

2. Next, use Filter by Keywords to filter social media posts by your topic + ASCO 2023. You can also filter by multiple keywords such as "PD-L1" and "NSCLC."

3. Export your posts to PowerPoint or take screenshots.

4. Group your posts by theme. A theme could be Clinical Considerations, Market Access, Treatment Landscape or another category. Your themes will depend on your product lifecycle stage and other factors.

5. Create a table and list each theme. For each theme, add a column for Opportunities, Risks and Recommended actions.

6. Include 1-2 posts as examples for each theme.

Evaluate your HCPs

1. First, look at the HCPs who tweeted about your subject.

2. Export the HCPs to PowerPoint or take screenshots.

3. Group your HCPs by category (for example, Advocate, Detractor or Undecided).

4. Create a table and list each HCP. For each HCP, add a column for Institution, Location, Relationship with your organization and Recommended actions.

5. Include 1-2 posts from each HCP as examples.

Share with your team and ask their feedback. Once you’ve got their feedback, you’re ready to share with a broader group.

Remember: check the progress of your recommended actions every so often. Track and report any outcomes.
